Wilson's popularity travelled into the US in 2014, when she appeared as a character on Showtimes The Affair. Wilson starred in the horror film I Am the Pretty Thing Living in the House in 2016, and she played the mysterious PT Stella as the Sci-Fi romantic comedy How to Talk to Girls at Parties. In 2018, she will be adding another horror film in her resume when she stars in the British adaptation of The Little Stranger, a supernatural thriller based upon the novel by Sarah Waters. Wilson is also the executive producer of The film.
